What payment methods are available on ahlvar.com?

Safety and convenience are our guiding words when it comes to payment methods.

Globally, Ahlvar Gallery offers safe credit card payment from:
* VISA
* MasterCard
* American Express (Amex)
* Klarna Pay Later
* Apple Pay

How much does the shipping cost?

Shipping costs may vary, depending on the shipping method you prefer and where you live.

* Orders within Sweden: Bring to your nearest pick-up point 35 SEK, or PostNord to your nearest pick-up point 50 SEK
* Pick up in our Showroom - free of charge
* Orders within Sweden - Bring home delivery 85 SEK
* Orders within EU with DHL Express to your nearest pick-up point - 15€
* Orders within EU with UPS to your nearest pick-up point - 10€
* Orders outside EU with DHL Express to your nearest pick-up point - 30€
* Orders outside EU with UPS to your nearest pick-up point - 30€
* For orders that haven't been picked up and will be returned to us we charge 100 SEK.

Will my package be charged with custom and import fees?

Custom and import fees are not included in the price. All extra charges, customs duty/or taxes are paid by the receiver. With the exception of Norway, no additional charges will apply.

Can I use a gift card?

Of course, just write the gift card number as the discount code at the check-out.

ORDERS

How do I place an order at ahlvar.com?

Ahlvar.com wants you to have an easy shopping experience. Navigate through our website using the menu, filter, and/or search functions.

Select your favorite piece by clicking on the picture. Select the color and size and put it in your shopping bag by clicking “Add to cart”. If you are unsure regarding your size or preferences, visit our Size Guide, or chat with us through our live chat in the left corner. Continue browsing on our website until you are satisfied with your cart.

To go to check-out, click on the bag symbol in the top right corner and follow the clear instructions in the check-out flow to review and place your order by stating your delivery address, choosing delivery, and payment method.

To make your next visit even easier and adapted to your taste, we recommend you create an account with us. By having an account you can easily see all your orders, shipping information, and payment information. You can also create a wishlist through your account. You are always welcome to use the guest check-out. You will see the content of your cart and the total cost throughout. The check-out process will be on an order confirmation page where you will see your order number. An email will be sent out as order confirmation.

I have a discount code. Where do I enter it?

Enter your discount code in the check-out process, under the summary of your order.

How do I know if you have received my order?

We will send you a confirmation email listing your ordered items and chosen payment method.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order please send an email to info@ahlvar.com as soon as possible. Once your order is shipped, we can not cancel it. However, we always offer free returns within Sweden.

Can I buy a gift card on ahlvar.com?

Of course, search for ‘gift cards’ by clicking on the magnifying glass. Choose your preferred amount and click on the “Add to cart”-button.

DELIVERY

What shipment companies do you use?

* In Sweden you can choose between: Bring to nearest pick-up point (35 sek), pick up in our Showroom at Rådmansgatan 35 in Stockholm (free of charge), or Bring home delivery (85 sek)
* Orders within EU you can choose between DHL Express to nearest pick-up point or home delivery (15€), UPS to nearest pick-up point (10€).
* Orders outside EU you can choose DHL Express to nearest pick-up point or home delivery (30€).
* For orders that haven't been picked up and will be returned to us we charge 100 SEK.
As soon as your order is sent, you will receive an email with a link to track your parcel. Click on the link if you want to keep an eye on its process as it makes its way to you.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email with shipping confirmation and tracking ID. You can also log into your account to see the status of your order. For Sweden, you can download the app “Mina Paket” for easy tracking of all your parcel from the biggest shipping companies.

If you haven’t received a shipping confirmation, please contact us at info@ahlvar.com with your order number and we will be happy to assist you.

What’s your delivery time?

Sweden: 1-3 business days Exceptions: note that northern Sweden and deliveries to islands may require an additional day.
International orders with DHL: 1-3 business days
International orders with UPS: 3-5 business days.

Note that we process, pack and ship all orders placed before 14:00 CET on a business day that same day. If placed later or on a weekend or bank holiday, we will ship your order the following business day.

Note that in periods of high demand such as sale, the delivery may take longer.

Can I alter my delivery address after I’ve placed my order?

In most cases, yes. Please contact us as soon as possible and inform us about the address you want to change, and the new delivery address. Use the e-mail account you ordered from and remember to include your order number, in order for us to maintain our high-security level regarding your delivery.

The delivery company is unable to deliver my order, what can I do?

Please contact them directly for further assistance and they will be able to help you. UPS usually make up to three delivery attempts, after that your purchase will be sent to their local service department.

Why haven't I received my purchase?

If your order is delayed, we will always try to contact you with an updated delivery date. Please notice that our sales periods might require an extended delivery time. We’re always happy to help you, so please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions regarding your order.

Can I buy something as a gift on ahlvar.com and have it delivered to someone else?

Yes, absolutely. Simply fill in the recipient’s name and address as Shipping address and your own as Billing address. While we are not able to provide a selection of gift wrapping, our exclusive packaging is designed to serve that purpose too. Please note that return information etc. will be included in the delivery.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

What is your return or exchange policy?

Ahlvar.com wants you to have an easy shopping experience. Therefore, we always strive to make quick and easy returns. We have a global 30-day return policy for all our orders. The items must return to us in their original condition, meaning they have not been used or cleaned, and all tags should be intact and attached to the garment. You are of course welcome to try your new pieces to see if it fits you and is the way you like them to be, but other than that they should be unused. Non-valid returns will be returned to you without a refund.

How much is the return shipping?

We currently offer free returns on all orders within Sweden. Regarding international orders, you always have free exchanges, and if you choose to return the entire order, there will be a return fee of 10€ for Denmark and Finland, and other countries will be charged 20€.

I live in the EU — how do I return something I bought on ahlvar.com?

To make a return, simply follow the return instructions included in your parcel, including using the provided return label and filling in the return note that requests you to fill in the reason for the return.

Detailed instructions:
1. Use the Ahlvar shipping box to return your pieces.
2. Fill in the return form that came with your order. Place it in the box along with the items you wish to return.
3. Attach the prepaid return label.
4. Depending on how your return label is marked:
* PostNord: simply visit your nearest PostNord service point. See postnord.se
* Bring: simply visit your nearest Bring service point. See schenker.se
* DHL Express: simply visit your nearest DHL Express service point or schedule a pick-up via dhl.com. Note that DHL requires returns of express deliveries, including all Ahlvar Gallery deliveries, to be made specifically from a "DHL Express" access point or be scheduled via their site.
* UPS: simply visit your nearest UPS service point or schedule a pick-up via ups.com.
5. Save the receipt.

I do not live in the EU — How do I return something I bought on ahlvar.com?

Please contact us at info@ahlvar.com for a return label.

How long does it take for you to process my online return?

Our aim is to be as fast and efficient as possible in accepting, reviewing, and processing your return. In general, it only takes up to two business days from the time your return reaches us until our return department has successfully arranged your return. The exact time it takes for your return to reach us depends on its original location. Once we have processed your return and issued a refund, a return notification will be emailed once we have processed your return.

Please note that during periods of high demand, such as sale, returns may take up to 5 business days.

How do I receive my refund?

The amount will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within 3-5 business days. If you have chosen to pay by invoice, your invoice will be credited, and you will receive a new updated invoice from Klarna. This is only available within Sweden.

Can I make an exchange instead?

Of course, simply write which size/color you wish to change to on the return form and we will send you the new piece as soon as we have received your return.

I’ve lost my return label - how do I proceed?

We are here to help. Please contact us at info@ahlvar.com and state your order number and we will send you a new return label.

ASSORTMENT

I have lost a button - how can I get hold of more?

Just contact us at info@ahlvar.com and we will send you new ones. Let us know the number of buttons you need, and your full name and address.

How do I choose the right size?

How do I best care for my Ahlvar pieces?

Paying extra attention to how you wash and take care of your clothes will not only prolong their life length but also help minimize their environmental impact. For more advice, please visit our Care Guide .

How do I change the currency on the website?

The site automatically changes the currency depending on what country you’re browsing from, but you can change the currency manually as you prefer at the bottom of the website.

I’ve forgotten my account password. How do I proceed?

Go to your account in the top right corner of the page. Instead of entering your email to log in, go to the line asking if you forgot your password to reset. You will receive an email with simple instructions on how to set up a new one.
